Purity Foundation Daily Devotional  Wednesday 25th February,2026 Topic: Clean Hearts, Close Walk - Holiness as a Lifestyle, not a rule Text: Luke 6:45 "A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh." Reflection: One of the greatest mistakes people make about holiness is trying to change behavior without allowing God to change the heart. Many believers focus on outward actions which are; speaking correctly, behaving properly, and appearing spiritual But Jesus taught that holiness does not start outwardly it begins inwardly. In Luke 6:45, Jesus explains that whatever fills the heart eventually shows up in life. Words, attitudes, reactions, and decisions are simply expressions of what already lives inside us. This means holiness cannot be sustained by rules alone. Rules may control behavio...

Purity Foundation Daily Devotional  Tuesday 24th February,2026 Topic: Close Hearts, Close Walk - Holiness as a Lifestyle, not a rule Text:Leviticus 20:26 "And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the LORD am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine." Reflection: There's always a big misunderstanding around the topic of holiness which we need to understand and correct. For many believers, holiness feels heavy. When the word is mentioned, people often think of restriction, judgment, or pressure. Some imagine Christianity as a long list of things they must stop doing in order to please God. But holiness was never meant to feel like a prison. Holiness is actually an invitation into closeness. In our anchor text, God does not simply command holiness — He explains why: “You shall be holy unto Me… that you should be Mine.” Notice God’s heart. The focus is not rules, it is relationship. God is saying: “I want you close.” “I want you different be...

Purity Foundation Daily Devotional  Monday 23rd February, 2026 Topic: Close Hearts, close Walk - Holiness as a Lifestyle, not as a rule Text: Romans 12:1 "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service."  Reflection:  We end where we began: belonging. Holiness is ultimately surrender. A clean heart says, “God, search me.” A close walk says, “God, lead me.” Lifestyle holiness says, “God, I am Yours.” Presenting ourselves as living sacrifices means daily availability. It is not a one-time event but an ongoing devotion. Holiness is not about restrictions, it is about dedication. We belong to Him. When we fully surrender; fear decreases, Peace increases and Purpose becomes clearer. A clean heart and close walk create a life fully aligned with God. In Gethsemane, Jesus surrendered His will to the Father. His obedience flowed from relationship and tr...

Purity Foundation Daily Devotional  Saturday 21st February,2026 Topic: Clean Hearts, Clean Walk - Holiness as a Lifestyle, not a rule Text: Revelation 3:20 "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me." Reflection : God desires closeness with us and Revelation 3:20 paints a picture of Jesus standing at the door and knocking.  This verse is often used for salvation, but it was speaking to believers, telling us Jesus is always knocking on the door of people who already knew Him and inviting them to a deeper fellowship. Holiness is not about distancing ourselves from God because we feel unworthy. It is about responding to His invitation for intimacy. A close walk begins when we intentionally open the door daily. Fellowship with God is more than prayer requests. It is communion, listening, sitting, worshiping, and reflecting. Sometimes we rush into God’s presence with needs ...

Growth takes time. Some days feel strong; other days feel weak. Paul endured hardship, rejection, and fatigue, yet he continued pursuing Christ. His growth was steady, not instant.   Steady pursuit matters more than flawless performance. Do not grow weary in doing good, clean hearts require maintenance and Close walks require perseverance. God is not asking for instant maturity, He is asking for continued surrender. When we fall, we return. When we feel dry, we seek Him again. Consistency builds depth. Reflection Moment  Where do I feel tempted to give up spiritually? Prayer: Father, give us endurance to keep wal...
