Topic: In His Presence
Text: Psalm 27:4
"One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life."

Reflection:
When we talk about being in God’s presence is not only about emotional experiences during worship or long prayer sessions. While those moments are valuable, true dwelling in His presence is all about  lifestyle.
It means living with the awareness that God is near in every situation we find ourselves. It might be during joy, stress, work, decisions, and even silence.  Learning to include God in daily living rather than visiting Him occasionally or treating Him as an emergency number and expect a miracle out of nowhere while God does that sometimes, it doesn't mean it will work at all times. God is not a magician.

Imagine someone who hasn't reached out to you for months texting you out of nowhere to ask for a favor from you. The first thing you mind goes to is why would someone you have not heard from in months just come to your DM and ask you for something, that's also how God feels when we use him as an emergency backup with any relationship with Him. So Living in God’s presence works similarly to how you reach out to that friend you can't do without talking to in a day.
When you consistently stay in God's presence prayer becomes conversation, obedience becomes response, and peace becomes the atmosphere of the heart.
When facing a stressful situation at work or home without awareness of God, anxiety often leads to reactions, but when someone pauses inwardly and remembers, “God is here with me,” perspective changes, Calm replaces panic because the situation is no longer faced alone and Jesus modeled this perfectly. He often withdrew to pray, not because God was absent, but because quiet moments strengthened awareness of continual communion with the Father. Even in crowds and chaos, He remained rooted in divine presence.
Living in God’s presence therefore means:
depending on Him moment by moment,
inviting Him into ordinary decisions,
allowing His peace to guide our reactions,
and returning to Him whenever the heart drifts.
It is less about striving to reach God and more about learning to recognize that He is near to us than we think and all we need to do is just total surrender and consciousness of his presence.

Reflection Moment
When during my day do I forget that God is near

Prayer:
Father, take away every false idea that makes us think you're unreachable, far from us and can't hear us
