Text: 2 Corinthians 5:17 
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”

Reflection: 
Continuation From Yesterday's Devotional.

A new life can create courage, hope and reassurance. We could have a newfound focus and determination. We may be strengthened with such avidness to cope with any adversity that life may inflict. In any cocoon or chrysalis that we may feel entrapped, we will find a way forward to freedom.

Just as the disciples watched in amazement at the Transfiguration of Christ on that mountain, faith and hope had been strengthened and possibly renewed like the newfound wings of freedom a butterfly also experiences.

The disciples were seeing the Messiah in a new form which reflected glory and a promise of good things to come. 
2 Corinthians 3:18 confirms: “And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.”

In the spiritual sense, the message of the transfiguration provides an insight into the fullness of glory, hope and expectation. Hope for us, because there will be triumph over sin and death. Expectation as He will be raised in glory from the dead, to be enthroned on the right-hand side of God for eternity. 
1 John 1:1-2 reminds us: “That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we looked upon and have touched with our hands, concerning the word of life - the life was made manifest, and we have seen it, and testify to it and proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and was made manifest to us.”

Prayer: 
Father, please let people see the reflection of God in my life from today onward in Jesus Name
