Topic: Clean Heart, Close Walk - Holiness as a Lifestyle, Not a Rule
Text: Psalm 16:8
"I have set the LORD always before me: Because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved."

Reflection :
Holiness is not sustained by effort alone, it is sustained by closeness.
Many believers sincerely desire to live holy lives but become discouraged because they focus on trying harder instead of walking closer with God.
The simple truth is:
 Holiness grows naturally where intimacy with God exists and a close walk with God changes desires before it changes actions.
Holiness Flows From Connection and Jesus explained this clearly in 
John 15:4-5 "Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing."

Notice Jesus did not say, “Produce fruit by striving.”
He said, “Abide.”
Fruit is the natural result of connection with God not through works.
In the same way, our 
Obedience becomes easier when we stay connected with God and sin loses attraction.

Holiness is not self-improvement, it is life flowing from relationship and when we focus only on avoiding sin, temptation feels stronger.

When we focus on walking with God, our desires begin to change.
The closer the walk, the weaker sin’s influence becomes. Our God is not only present in church services;
He walks with us:
at work in conversations during stress in private moments and when making decisions. Micah 6:8
“Walk humbly with your God.”

Holiness is learning to live every part of life with God beside you and it becomes natural when God is no longer a weekly appointment but a daily companion.

Prayer:  
Father, help us remain connected to You in ordinary moments, walk closely with you daily and allow our intimacy with you shape our lifestyle in Jesus name
