Topic: Clean Hearts,close Walk - Holiness as a Lifestyle,not a rule
Text: Leviticus 20:26
"And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the LORD am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine."
Reflection:
Holiness begins by developing a relationship with God.
God said, “You shall be holy unto Me,” holiness is toward God, not toward human approval. Many believers struggle because they pursue holiness as perfection rather than identity. God separated Israel not to make them superior but to make them His own. When belonging is secure, transformation is natural. A clean heart grows from knowing you are chosen. If we forget we belong, holiness feels pressured but when we remember we belong, holiness becomes easier. The goal is intimacy, not focused on outward management.
Living holy means remembering who you are when no one is watching; God’s possession. The identity shapes your behavior more than the rules ever can.
Biblical Example: Israel chosen before commandments (Exodus 19).
Reflection Question: Do I pursue holiness to impress God or because I belong to Him?
Prayer:
Father, help me recognize my Identity and the security it has in you in Jesus Name
