Topic: Clean Hearts,clean Walk - Holiness as a Lifestyle not a rule
Text: Hebrews 12:1
"Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,"

Reflection:
A clean heart requires honesty. This does not mean public confession of every struggle, but it does mean genuine openness before God and, when necessary, trusted spiritual support.
Sometimes hidden struggles grow because we fear exposure or judgment. But God already sees everything, and His desire is not condemnation but healing. 

Achan secretly kept forbidden items after Israel’s victory. Though hidden, the sin affected the entire community’s strength. The story shows that concealed disobedience has broader consequences than we realize.
When we bring struggles into God’s light, we remove their power.
Hidden sin quietly drains spiritual strength. 
It may remain unseen by others, but it weakens our closeness with God. Holiness invites us into freedom, not secrecy.

The goal is not perfection, it is freedom. When we release hidden burdens, spiritual energy returns and intimacy with God deepens.

 Reflection Moment: 
Is there anything I keep hidden that God is inviting me to release?

Reflection:  The Christian life begins with a deep and passionate love for God, but over time, distractions, trials, and worldly pursuits can cause believers to drift away from that initial devotion.  In Revelation 2:4-5, Jesus rebuked the church in Ephesus for abandoning their first love and called them to repentance.
