Topic: Changed From the Inside Out
Text: 2Corinthians 3:18
“But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.”

Reflection:
The transformation of a believer starts when someone comes to faith in Jesus Christ and God begins a deep work within that person. 

Christianity is not merely about adopting religious habits or following moral rules, it is about experiencing a genuine change that begins in the heart and gradually reshapes the entire life. The change Paul speaks about is not outward performance but an inward transformation produced by the Spirit of God.

Understanding What “Change” Means for a Believer means becoming more like Christ in character, attitude, and lifestyle. In the same way, when someone becomes a follower of Christ, God begins to reshape their inner nature.

This transformation affects the believer’s desires, thoughts, and responses. Things that once seemed normal may begin to feel uncomfortable, while things that once seemed difficult such as forgiveness, humility, or patience gradually becomes possible. This change does not happen because of human strength or determination alone. 

According to this verse, 
it happens “by the Spirit of the Lord.” The Holy Spirit works within the believer, gently molding the heart and renewing the mind.

Father, remould me in ways I need to be moulded in Jesus name.

Reflection: Holiness is often misunderstood. Many people hear the word and think of strict rules, constant correction, or a list of “do’s and don’ts. Scripture reveals something far more relational. God does not call us to holiness to restrict us,He calls us to holiness to claim us. In Leviticus 20:26, God says, “You shall be holy unto Me.” Notice the direction of the holiness.
