Text: Psalm 16:11
“Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.”

Reflection : Understanding Joy that doesn't Fade III
The verse begins with a promise: “Thou wilt shew me the path of life.”
This tells us that joy is also found in direction;walking the path God reveals. Many people lose joy because they are walking outside God’s will, chasing what cannot satisfy them.
The path of life is not always the easiest path, but it is always the most fulfilling one. It is a life aligned with God’s purpose, where obedience becomes peace and surrender becomes strength.
At the end of this path, the Bible says, “at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.” This points beyond temporary experiences to eternal fulfillment with God, a place he has promised to give us if will give all to him according to his word. This is a reminder that true joy is not only for today, it stretches into eternity.
When a person walks with God, they are not just surviving life; they are being led into lasting satisfaction that cannot fade with time.

Reflection: Holiness is often misunderstood. Many people hear the word and think of strict rules, constant correction, or a list of “do’s and don’ts. Scripture reveals something far more relational. God does not call us to holiness to restrict us,He calls us to holiness to claim us. In Leviticus 20:26, God says, “You shall be holy unto Me.” Notice the direction of the holiness. Holiness is not about people, it is about belonging to God.
