Topic ; Power To Live Right - God's Presence Helping us Say No To Sin and Yes To Purpose
Text ; Acts 3:19
Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.

Reflection:
Living right is more than trying to be a good person. It is allowing God to influence every area of our lives. Many people want to do what is right but struggle because they depend only on their willpower and that isn't God's desire for us because he doesn't merely want to give us rules, He wants to give us His presence and His Spirit.

The power to live right comes from a relationship with God and when His presence fills our hearts, our desires begin to change. We start loving what God loves and reject what He hates and that is why repentance is important because it allows and gives room for remolding. Repentance is not simply feeling sorry for sin; it is genuinely turning away from sin and turning toward God.

Acts 3:19 tells us that when we repent, times of refreshing come from God's presence. That refreshing gives us strength to overcome temptation and walk in righteousness. God never asks us to live right by ourselves because he knows we can't do that by our power alone, so he expects us to lean on him and follow His lead.
He provides grace, wisdom, and power for the journey.
As you begin this month, understand that holiness is not achieved by human effort alone, it is the result of God's presence working in a yielded heart.

Reflection: Holiness is often misunderstood. Many people hear the word and think of strict rules, constant correction, or a list of “do’s and don’ts. Scripture reveals something far more relational. God does not call us to holiness to restrict us,He calls us to holiness to claim us. In Leviticus 20:26, God says, “You shall be holy unto Me.” Notice the direction of the holiness. Holiness is not about people, it is about belonging to God.
