"You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever."

Reflection: Resisting Sin Rather Than Pursuing God's Presence. 

Many believers struggle a lot today because they focus only on resisting sin rather than pursuing God's presence or knowing him better. The truth is that the more we experience God's presence, the less attractive sin becomes.
David declared that in God's presence there is fullness of joy. Sin often appears attractive because it promises satisfaction, but it never delivers lasting fulfillment. God's presence, however, satisfies the deepest needs of the human heart that deeply search him.

When a person regularly spends time in prayer, worship, and the study of God's Word, their desires begin to change.
Things they once enjoyed may lose their appeal. Their heart becomes aligned with God's will and this transformation does not happen overnight. It is a daily process of walking with God. The more we stay close to Him, the stronger we become spiritually.

Do not spend all your energy fighting sin. Spend time seeking God. His presence will give you the strength to overcome.

Reflection: Holiness is often misunderstood. Many people hear the word and think of strict rules, constant correction, or a list of “do’s and don’ts. Scripture reveals something far more relational. God does not call us to holiness to restrict us,He calls us to holiness to claim us. In Leviticus 20:26, God says, “You shall be holy unto Me.” Notice the direction of the holiness.
