Topic: Bold Faith, No Shame - Faith That Refuses to Be Silent 1
Bible Text: Acts 4:18–20 
"And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus. But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye. For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard."

Reflection: Faith That Refuses to Be Silent 1.
The Christian faith was never meant to be hidden. From the beginning of the early church, believers boldly proclaimed the message of Jesus Christ, even when they faced threats and persecution. Their confidence was not in their own ability but in the One who had called and empowered them.

After healing a man at the Beautiful Gate, Peter and John were arrested and brought before the religious leaders. They were strictly warned never to speak or teach again in the name of Jesus. The leaders believed that fear would silence them. Instead, Peter and John responded with remarkable courage: "We cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard."

These words reveal a heart completely surrendered to God. They understood that obedience to God must always take priority over the approval of people. They had personally experienced the saving power of Jesus, and they could not remain silent about what He had done.

Reflection: Holiness is often misunderstood. Many people hear the word and think of strict rules, constant correction, or a list of “do’s and don’ts. Scripture reveals something far more relational. God does not call us to holiness to restrict us,He calls us to holiness to claim us. In Leviticus 20:26, God says, “You shall be holy unto Me.” Notice the direction of the holiness. Holiness is not about people, it is about belonging to God.
