Topic: Bold Faith, No Shame - Choosing Obedience Over Popularity 2
Bible Text: Galatians 1:10
"For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ."

Reflection:
Choosing to obey God above people does not mean becoming proud, harsh, or unfriendly. Sometimes, when believers stand for their convictions, they may be tempted to look down on others or speak in a way that sounds judgmental. But bold faith should always reflect the character of Christ.

Jesus stood firmly for truth, yet He was full of grace. He did not compromise God's standard, but He also did not treat people with pride or contempt. In the same way, we can refuse to join what is wrong while still showing kindness to those around us. We can say no to sin without insulting people, and we can stand apart without acting superior.

When we choose God's approval, we must also learn to trust Him with the reactions of others and the truth is people may misunderstand us, some may question our decisions or make us feel excluded. But we do not need to fight for everyone's acceptance our identity is secure in Christ, and His approval is enough.

It is important to remember that a life that pleases God is not a lonely life. God gives us His presence, His strength, and fellow believers who can encourage us. He also uses our faithfulness as a witness to others. People may not agree with your convictions immediately, but they can see the peace, integrity, and consistency in your life.

Do not be discouraged if obedience makes you feel different. Being different for the right reason is not something to be ashamed of. Let your life show that you belong to Christ. Remain humble, love people sincerely, and stay faithful to God's Word.

Key Point: 
You can stand apart for Christ without standing above others.

Reflection: Holiness is often misunderstood. Many people hear the word and think of strict rules, constant correction, or a list of “do’s and don’ts. Scripture reveals something far more relational. God does not call us to holiness to restrict us,He calls us to holiness to claim us. In Leviticus 20:26, God says, “You shall be holy unto Me.” Notice the direction of the holiness.
