Bibel Text:Matthew 6:33
"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."

Reflection:
The way God sees going after worldly things as vanity is similar to how Paul reached a similar conclusion in Philippians 3:8, he described everything else as loss compared with the surpassing value of knowing Christ. His greatest treasure was not his achievements, reputation, or position. It was knowing Jesus because growing deeper in His presence means learning to say, "Lord, I don't just want what You can give me. I want You."

This does not mean withdrawing from responsibilities or ignoring other important areas of life. Rather, it means allowing God to influence every area of our lives. We work with Him, plan with Him, serve with Him, relate to people with His wisdom, and make decisions under His guidance.

Today, pause and examine your priorities. Where does God truly stand in your daily life? Is He first, or does He receive the leftovers of your time and attention?

The good news is that every day gives us another opportunity to realign our hearts. You can begin again today. Give God your first attention, your sincere affection, your time, and your obedience.

What have I exalted above God in my life?

Prayer :
Father, Rearrange my priorities and help me to involve You in every area of my life. Let my heart continually say, Lord, I want You more than anything else In Jesus name.

Reflection: Holiness is often misunderstood. Many people hear the word and think of strict rules, constant correction, or a list of “do’s and don’ts. Scripture reveals something far more relational. God does not call us to holiness to restrict us,He calls us to holiness to claim us. In Leviticus 20:26, God says, “You shall be holy unto Me.” Notice the direction of the holiness.
