Topic : Growing Deeper in His Presence
Bible:Exodus 33:15
"And he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence."

Reflection:
Most times we pray intensely for an open door, but once the door opens, we become too busy to pray. We ask God for a new opportunity, but when it comes, we become so occupied with it that our fellowship with Him suffers. We ask Him for increase, but the increase can eventually take away the time we once spent seeking Him.

The blessing was never meant to replace the Blesser. God wants to bless His children, but His greatest desire is relationship. He does not want us to become so occupied with what He has placed in our hands that we forget the One who placed it there.

Jesus said in John 15:5, "He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing."

Abiding means remaining connected to Christ. It means that our relationship with Him continues regardless of what season we are in.

- When things are going well, we remain.
- When things are difficult, we remain.
- When prayers are answered, we remain.
- When answers seem delayed, we remain.
- When doors open, we remain.
- When doors close, we remain.

Our relationship with God should not be determined by circumstances.

Prayer:
Father, teach me to value you above everything you give me in Jesus name
