Topic: Growing Deeper in His Presence
Bib Text: Matthew 6:33
"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."

Reflection: 
There is a difference between knowing that God's presence is important and actually making His presence the priority of our lives. Many people seek God when they need direction, provision, protection, or an answer to prayer. While God cares about every need we have, He desires something deeper: He wants us to desire Him for who He is.

Jesus said, "Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness." The word first is important. God does not want to be one of many priorities competing for our attention. He wants to occupy the rightful place at the center of our lives.

When God's presence becomes our priority, our relationship with Him stops being dependent on circumstances. We do not pray only when there is a problem. We do not open our Bibles only when we need an answer. We do not worship only when everything is going well. Instead, we develop a consistent desire to know Him, hear Him, and walk with Him every day. But growing deeper in His presence means learning to say, "Lord, I don't just want what You can give me. I want You."

Prioritizing God's presence also means protecting our time with Him. If something is important to us, we make room for it. We cannot expect spiritual depth when our relationship with God receives whatever time is left over after everything else has been done.

When His presence becomes your priority, you will discover that knowing Him is greater than merely receiving things from Him.

Key Question:
What area of my life currently receives more attention than my relationship with God, and what practical step can I take to put Him first?

Prayer:
Father, help me to make Your presence my greatest priority. Teach me to seek You before everything else in Jesus name

Reflection: Holiness is often misunderstood. Many people hear the word and think of strict rules, constant correction, or a list of “do’s and don’ts. Scripture reveals something far more relational. God does not call us to holiness to restrict us,He calls us to holiness to claim us. In Leviticus 20:26, God says, “You shall be holy unto Me.” Notice the direction of the holiness.
