Topic : Growing Deeper in His Presence - The Power of Staying in God's Presence II
Text: Exodus 33:14
"And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest."

Reflection: 
In Exodus 33, Moses was faced with the responsibility of leading God's people. The journey ahead was uncertain, and there were many things he did not know. Yet Moses understood something important: the greatest assurance he could have was not knowing exactly what the future held, but knowing that God's presence would go with him and God responded to Moses with these comforting words: "My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest."

Sometimes we are tempted to run from God's presence when we are struggling. We may feel ashamed because of our mistakes or discouraged because we have not lived up to our expectations, but God does not call us to run away from Him in those moments. He calls us to come closer.

Jesus said in John 15:4, "Abide in me, and I in you." The word abide means to remain, stay, or continue. Jesus is calling us to a consistent relationship with Him because a branch cannot produce fruit by separating itself from the vine. In the same way, we cannot expect lasting spiritual fruit when we continually disconnect ourselves from God. Our strength, wisdom, peace, and ability to live according to His will flow from our connection with Him.

Key Point: 
Am I always running away after prayer or reading the word just to fulfill a routine.

Father, Let Your presence become my place of peace, strength, wisdom, and joy in Jesus name

Reflection: Holiness is often misunderstood. Many people hear the word and think of strict rules, constant correction, or a list of “do’s and don’ts. Scripture reveals something far more relational. God does not call us to holiness to restrict us,He calls us to holiness to claim us. In Leviticus 20:26, God says, “You shall be holy unto Me.” Notice the direction of the holiness.
