Topic : Living as Light in a Dark World - How We Live Our Life
Text : Philippians 2:14-16 
"Do all things without murmurings and disputings: that ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain."

Reflection:
Living as light is not only about what we say we believe; it is also about how we live when life does not go the way we want because it is easy to appear joyful when everything is going well, easier to be patient when people treat us well. But what happens when we are disappointed, misunderstood, corrected, ignored, or treated unfairly?
Those moments reveal what is happening within us.

Paul tells believers to do everything without complaining or arguing, so that they may shine as lights in the world. This is important because our character becomes especially visible during difficult moments.

Ask yourself: When people encounter me, do they encounter something that reflects Christ?

In today's world many live a life that doesn't shine the light of whom we claim we are and it is important to be conscious of how we respond and behave to people or situations so that the image of whom we carry can be seen truly. 

Prayer:
Father, help me respond to people and circumstances in a way that reflects Your light and brings glory to Your name Jesus.

Reflection: Holiness is often misunderstood. Many people hear the word and think of strict rules, constant correction, or a list of “do’s and don’ts. Scripture reveals something far more relational. God does not call us to holiness to restrict us,He calls us to holiness to claim us. In Leviticus 20:26, God says, “You shall be holy unto Me.” Notice the direction of the holiness. Holiness is not about people, it is about belonging to God.
