Topic : Living as Light in a Dark World - Be a Light Where You Are
Text: Colossians 3:12–17
"Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye."

Reflection:
Sometimes we imagine that shining for Christ requires doing something extraordinary. We may think we need a large platform, an important position, or a special opportunity before our lives can make a difference, but God often calls us to shine right where we are.

Paul's instructions in Colossians 3 show us what this looks like in everyday life. These qualities may seem ordinary, but they become powerful when they are consistently demonstrated in a world where selfishness, pride, impatience, and unforgiveness are common.
Notice that none of these things require a public platform. Your everyday life is already a place where your faith can be demonstrated.

We sometimes want God to give us a bigger assignment while neglecting the people and responsibilities already in front of us. But faithfulness in ordinary places matters to God.
Jesus said, “Let your light so shine before men.” That means our Christianity should be visible in the way we handle ordinary moments. When Christ is reflected in your everyday life, even simple actions can become a testimony.

Key Point:
How can I intentionally reflect Christ in the place and relationships God has given me right now?

Prayer :
Father, help me recognise the opportunities You have placed around me. Teach me to reflect Christ through my everyday actions in Jesus name

Reflection: Holiness is often misunderstood. Many people hear the word and think of strict rules, constant correction, or a list of “do’s and don’ts. Scripture reveals something far more relational. God does not call us to holiness to restrict us,He calls us to holiness to claim us. In Leviticus 20:26, God says, “You shall be holy unto Me.” Notice the direction of the holiness.
