Topic : Living as Light in a Dark World
Bible Text : Galatians 6:9-10
"And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith."

Reflection:
Living as light is not always easy because there will be moments when doing what is right feels tiring, inconvenient, or even unrewarding. You may choose honesty and still be misunderstood, show kindness and receive nothing in return, and remain faithful to God while others seem to move ahead by compromising their values.

Doing good consistently requires endurance. It is easy to make one good decision but more challenging to keep making the right decision when nobody seems to notice.
But God sees.

Every time you choose integrity instead of deception, forgiveness instead of revenge, purity instead of compromise, or kindness instead of cruelty, you are forming a life that reflects Christ.

So don't allow temporary difficulty to make you abandon permanent values. And remember that doing good does not mean allowing people to take advantage of you or ignoring wisdom and healthy boundaries. It means choosing what honours God while acting with love and discernment.

Key Point:
Where am I becoming tired of doing what is right, and what would it look like to remain faithful in that area?

Prayer:
Father, strengthen me when doing right becomes difficult in Jesus name.

Reflection: Holiness is often misunderstood. Many people hear the word and think of strict rules, constant correction, or a list of “do’s and don’ts. Scripture reveals something far more relational. God does not call us to holiness to restrict us,He calls us to holiness to claim us. In Leviticus 20:26, God says, “You shall be holy unto Me.” Notice the direction of the holiness. Holiness is not about people, it is about belonging to God.
