Topic : Living as Light in a Dark World - Walking In Light
Text: 1 John 1:5–9 
“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another"

Reflection: 
Walking in the light is more than knowing what is right; it is choosing to live according to what God has revealed to us. 

Walking in the light means refusing to build a secret life that contradicts our public faith, which means allowing God's truth to guide our thoughts, decisions, relationships, and behaviour even in areas that nobody else can see. It doesn't mean walking in the light must be perfect.

Sometimes we are tempted to hide our weaknesses because we fear what people will think, try to protect our image rather than deal honestly with our hearts. But God is more interested in genuine transformation than in a perfect appearance.

Walking in the light also affects our relationships. When we live honestly and lovingly, we become people others can trust. We don't manipulate, deceive, or deliberately hurt others to get our way. Don't be afraid to bring your whole heart before God.

What is surrendered to the light can be transformed by God.

Is there an area of my life where I need to become more honest with God and allow His truth to guide me?

Reflection: Holiness is often misunderstood. Many people hear the word and think of strict rules, constant correction, or a list of “do’s and don’ts. Scripture reveals something far more relational. God does not call us to holiness to restrict us,He calls us to holiness to claim us. In Leviticus 20:26, God says, “You shall be holy unto Me.” Notice the direction of the holiness. Holiness is not about people, it is about belonging to God.
