Topic: Walking in the Spirit
Text: Galatians 5:16
“This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.”

Reflection:
To walk in the Spirit means to allow the Holy Spirit to guide the way we live each day. It is more than simply being a Christian or attending church; it is consciously choosing to follow God’s leading in our thoughts, words, decisions, relationships, and actions.

Walking in the Spirit means asking, “What would God have me do?” before making decisions. It means allowing God’s Word to correct us when our desires lead us in the wrong direction and choosing obedience even when it is uncomfortable.

Galatians 5:16 shows us an important truth that when we walk in the Spirit, we will not fulfil the desires of the flesh. The answer to overcoming wrong desires is not merely trying harder; it is growing closer to God and yielding ourselves to the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit helps us recognize what is contrary to God’s will and gives us the strength to choose what pleases Him. As we continually surrender to His leading, the evidence will become visible in our character, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

Key Point:
In what area of my life do I need to surrender more fully to the leading of the Holy Spirit?

Prayer:
Father, teach me to walk in the Spirit every day and help me to recognize Your leading in Jesus name

Purity Foundation Daily Devotional  Tuesday 25th November 2025  Topic: Rekindled Fire 25 - Rekindled Love Text: Revelation 2:4-5 "Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent." Reflection:  The Christian life begins with a deep and passionate love for God, but over time, distractions, trials, and worldly pursuits can cause believers to drift away from that initial devotion.  In Revelation 2:4-5, Jesus rebuked the church in Ephesus for abandoning their first love and called them to repentance. Many believers today find themselves in a place where their love for God has grown cold. They still go through religious motions, but the fire of intimacy and devotion has diminished. This message is a call to return to that first love, rekindle our pass...

Purity Foundation Daily Devotional  Friday 4th Feb,2026 Topic: Clean Hearts, Close Walk  Text: Leviticus 20:26 "And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the LORD am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine." Reflection: Holiness is often misunderstood. Many people hear the word and think of strict rules, constant correction, or a list of “do’s and don’ts. Scripture reveals something far more relational. God does not call us to holiness to restrict us,He calls us to holiness to claim us. In Leviticus 20:26, God says, “You shall be holy unto Me.” Notice the direction of the holiness. Holiness is not about people, it is about belonging to God. The verse continues,  “I have severed you from other people, that you should be Mine.” Holiness begins with separation, not separation rooted in pride, but separation rooted in love and purpose. To be holy means to be set apart for intimacy with God. It is the fruit of a close walk, not the requiremen...

Purity Foundation Daily Devotional  Thursday 30th October 2025 Topic: Divine Restoration 30 - Restored Text: Joel 2:25-26   "And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed." Reflection:  Restoration comes when a review of the past activities is carried out. When God says He will restore, He means He is going into your past to see those waste that have decayed. Good news: god knows about the pains of the past. He saw you while you struggled and at the end of the day could not break even. God knows about those wasted dreams, He knows about those investments that went down the drain. He knows about those relationships that failed after much investments. He saw the places where your hopes were dashed! ...
