Topic :Walking in the Spirit - A Heart Sensitive To God's leading
Text: Isaiah 30:21
“And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.”

Reflection:
Walking in the Spirit requires a heart that is sensitive to God's leading. The Holy Spirit does not only guide us in major decisions; He also works in the ordinary moments of our daily lives.
Sometimes, He reminds us to pray for someone, prompts us to apologise, convicts us about an attitude, or directs us to refrain from saying something hurtful. These moments may seem small, but our response to them matters.

The challenge is that we can become so occupied with our plans, emotions, and daily activities that we fail to pay attention. We may sense the need to make something right but postpone it. We may recognise that our attitude is wrong but choose to justify it instead of changing.

However, we must not assume that every feeling or thought is from the Holy Spirit. Our impressions must be tested against scripture, because God will never lead us to act contrary to His Word. The more we learn to listen, test, and obey, the better equipped we become to follow His direction. Remember, recognising the spirit's prompting is important, but responding in obedience is what puts that leading into action.

Key Point:
Have I been too distracted by my daily activities to pay attention to God's Word and respond to His instructions?

Prayer :
Holy Spirit, make my heart sensitive to Your leading and help me to recognise what agrees with your word in Jesus name

Purity Foundation Daily Devotional  Tuesday 25th November 2025  Topic: Rekindled Fire 25 - Rekindled Love Text: Revelation 2:4-5 "Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent." Reflection:  The Christian life begins with a deep and passionate love for God, but over time, distractions, trials, and worldly pursuits can cause believers to drift away from that initial devotion.  In Revelation 2:4-5, Jesus rebuked the church in Ephesus for abandoning their first love and called them to repentance. Many believers today find themselves in a place where their love for God has grown cold. They still go through religious motions, but the fire of intimacy and devotion has diminished. This message is a call to return to that first love, rekindle our pass...

Purity Foundation Daily Devotional  Friday 4th Feb,2026 Topic: Clean Hearts, Close Walk  Text: Leviticus 20:26 "And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the LORD am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine." Reflection: Holiness is often misunderstood. Many people hear the word and think of strict rules, constant correction, or a list of “do’s and don’ts. Scripture reveals something far more relational. God does not call us to holiness to restrict us,He calls us to holiness to claim us. In Leviticus 20:26, God says, “You shall be holy unto Me.” Notice the direction of the holiness. Holiness is not about people, it is about belonging to God. The verse continues,  “I have severed you from other people, that you should be Mine.” Holiness begins with separation, not separation rooted in pride, but separation rooted in love and purpose. To be holy means to be set apart for intimacy with God. It is the fruit of a close walk, not the requiremen...

Purity Foundation Daily Devotional  Thursday 30th October 2025 Topic: Divine Restoration 30 - Restored Text: Joel 2:25-26   "And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed." Reflection:  Restoration comes when a review of the past activities is carried out. When God says He will restore, He means He is going into your past to see those waste that have decayed. Good news: god knows about the pains of the past. He saw you while you struggled and at the end of the day could not break even. God knows about those wasted dreams, He knows about those investments that went down the drain. He knows about those relationships that failed after much investments. He saw the places where your hopes were dashed! ...
