Topic : WALKING IN THE SPIRIT - Do Not Quench The Spirit
Bible Text: 1 Thessalonians 5:19
“Quench not the Spirit.”

Reflection:
The Holy Spirit is always at work in the life of a believer, guiding, correcting, teaching, and drawing us closer to God. However, we can hinder His work when we continually ignore His instructions, resist His correction, or choose our desires over His leading, and sometimes, the Spirit prompts us to pray, forgive someone, apologise, speak the truth, or walk away from something that displeases God but when we repeatedly ignore these promptings, our heart can become less sensitive to His voice.

Walking in the Spirit requires a willing heart. You must be ready to obey even when His instructions are uncomfortable or contrary to what you want. Do not allow pride, anger, fear, or the desire to please people to silence His leading in your life.

Remember, the goal is not merely to hear the Holy Spirit but to respond to Him. Every act of obedience strengthens your walk with God.

Key Point:
Have I been ignoring any instruction or correction from the Holy Spirit? What step of obedience do I need to take today?

Prayer:
Holy Spirit, help me to remain sensitive to Your leading. Amen.
