Topic : Walking in the Spirit - Recognising God's Leading
Text: James 1:22
“But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.”

Reflection: 
Walking in the Spirit is not just about hearing God's Word or recognising His leading; it is about putting what God says into practice.

Sometimes, we know what is right but struggle to do it. We know we should forgive, yet we hold on to offences. We know we should pray, yet we allow distractions to take over. We know we should speak kindly, yet we respond harshly when we are offended.

The problem is not always a lack of knowledge; sometimes, it is a lack of obedience and the Holy Spirit wants to leads us into a life that pleases God, but we must respond to His leading. Every time we obey God's instructions, even in small matters, we demonstrate that we are willing to be led by Him.

Remember, obedience does not mean we will always find it easy to do what is right. It means we choose God's will even when our feelings suggest otherwise. You cannot claim to be following the Spirit while deliberately refusing to obey His direction. Walking in the Spirit requires a heart that is willing to hear, trust, and act on God's Word.
