Topic: Walking in the Spirit - Responding To The Leading Of The Holy Spirit With Obedience.
Text: Ephesians 4:30 
“And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.”

Reflection: 
Walking in the Spirit requires more than knowing that the Holy Spirit lives in us; it requires responding to His leading with obedience. The Holy Spirit can prompt us when our attitude is wrong, when our words are hurtful, when we are about to make a wrong decision, or when something in our lives does not please God. At those moments, we have a choice: we can listen and obey, or we can ignore His leading but when we continually reject His correction, justify our actions, or choose our desires over God's will, we grieve the Holy Spirit. We may still attend church, pray, and appear fine outwardly, but inwardly we become less sensitive to His voice.

Obedience keeps our hearts sensitive to God's presence. Today, ask yourself: Am I resisting the Holy Spirit in any area of my life? If there is something He has been dealing with you about, don't postpone obedience. Surrender it to Him.

Is there any instruction or correction from the Holy Spirit that I have been deliberately ignoring?

Father, give me a yielded heart that is quick to obey and willing to change in Jesus name
